This Hingham primary bath remodel took a dated space back to the studs and rebuilt it around a bold idea: deep emerald green cabinetry, warm brass, and a gold starburst wallpaper that turns the whole room into a statement.

A layout that finally works. We reworked the doorways to make better use of the space, closing in the old hall door, framing a new entry into the bath, and building a recessed linen cabinet into the hall so storage sits flush with the wall.

Emerald green, custom throughout. The double vanity, the makeup station, and a tall glass-front linen tower are all Mouser cabinetry in a painted Euro Shaker door, with a wainscot panel wrapping the tub. Viatera quartz tops the vanities and the tub deck, milled thin at the backsplash for a clean edge.

A tub deck that lands on glass. The undermount tub sits beneath a single run of quartz that carries straight across and drops right on top of the frameless shower glass, so the tub deck and the shower enclosure read as one continuous wall. That is the kind of detail you only get when the stone, the glass, and the framing are planned together.

A walk-in shower in marble-look tile. The frameless glass shower is finished in large-format marble-look tile with a built-in niche and a bench, opening right off the tub.

Storage where it counts. Inside the bath, the glass-front linen tower matches the vanities. Out in the hall, the new recessed linen cabinet adds full-height storage without eating into the room.

Brass, gold, and a little cobalt. Brushed brass Kohler fixtures run throughout, from the widespread faucets to the deck-mount tub filler and shower trim, warmed against the gold wallpaper with a few cobalt blue accents that keep the room from feeling too serious.
