This Hingham primary bathroom came to Transitions for the materials and the install. Cabinetry, stone, tile, and plumbing all came through us, and our team handled the installation start to finish.
The room reads bright and quiet without going cold. Twin white oak Tedd Wood floating vanities anchor the long wall, each topped with a calacatta-veined quartz that picks up the same stone used on the tub deck and the shower curb. Matte black plumbing runs through the whole room, from the gooseneck faucets at the sinks to the rainhead and handheld in the shower to the deck-mount tub filler, giving the soft palette a clean graphic line. A pair of sculptural black rattan mirrors hang above the vanities, balanced by linear brass and white sconces overhead.
The shower is a corner walk-in framed by a half-height tile knee wall and a single fixed glass panel, no door. White subway tile in a stacked offset pattern wraps three walls floor to ceiling, with a small-format mosaic on the floor for grip and texture. A built-in tile niche shelf keeps the bottles tidy.
The tub sits under the windows, an undermount soaker built into a quartz deck that matches the vanities. A second hand-shower faucet at the tub adds versatility, and the window line gives the bath the kind of natural light that makes the room feel twice as big as it is.
